Note on a Transaction by Item
To add a note to a transaction, this is done by item in order to not have this pop up for transactions that you do not want to add a note to. Inside the product itself, check the box for "can modify description". For example, if you are charging dues to an account and they are pro-rated, you can modify the description on the statement or receipt to say "Pro Rated Dues for November and December". On your sales report you will still see the name of the original product, but the customer/member will see what you put in. This will help cut down on confusion for charges and hopefully lead to less emails and phone calls from your customers/members.
