How to sell a Gift Card as a Promo Item

Don’t forget to always sell Gift Cards through Quick Order.  Never on a tab!

Always ring up Gift Card first, and then the Gift Card Promo, second!

To ring up a Gift Card like a promo item, for example, buy a $100.00 and get an additional $20 bonus on it, you would use the Gift Card item and an inventory item called Gift Card Promo.

Ring in the Gift Card first for the amount of the card plus the promo.  In this example, $120.00.

Then, choose the Gift Card Promo which is 0.00.  Click on it on the right side to pull up the box to change the price.  Make it $-20.00.

Save, Continue.

Now the customer only pays the $100.00, but gets the $120 on his account.
