How to Add a New Locale

Step 1: Management

Step 2: Master Tables

Step 3: Click the drop down menu 

Step 4: Click locale

Step 5: Click New and name the locale

Step 6: Decide if tips will be allowed in this locale. If so, select Credit Card Machine

Step 7: Decide if pin numbers will need to be used. 

    If so, your options are:

        1. No pin

        2. Single Pin Until Exit ( This means one pin number is used on initial login. Then not again unless you refresh and log back in)

        3. Required Every Transaction (This means a pin number will be required on every transaction. This is best in bar settings where multiple employees are working out of the same register. Also good if you want to track each sale to an employee for accountability purposes.


Step 8: Click Save and then assign that locale in workstation preferences.
